Kendall recently relocated to Oahu with her Coast Guard spouse and joins CENSEO as our project accountant! Kendall has a B.S. in business administration and worked for a leading construction company in North Carolina before moving to Hawaii.

What is your favorite hobby?
Most of my free time is taken up supporting my children’s and husband’s various extracurricular activities like track, football, and surfing. My daughter will be taking horse riding lessons here in Oahu and I will be joining her as well! I love to hang out with friends, read a good novel, go hiking, and love on my human babies and fur babies – my golden retriever Mollie and pug Sandy!

Of all the places you’ve lived, what stands out to you about your move to Hawaii?
I am pleased to have officially witnessed the “aloha spirit” that I have heard about for so many years! I love the Hawaiian culture of family, community, respecting and taking care of this beautiful island. We hope to stay here for many years if we are lucky enough!

What do you enjoy most about the design and construction industry?
I love having a “behind the scenes” perspective into each project and seeing projects through from start to finish. It’s fascinating how many moving parts there are happening at once on projects, along with the specialized professionals, companies, tradesman, etc. that all bring a piece of the puzzle to create something on a grand scale.
