What stands out in your recent relocation to Hawaii?

Since my move to Hawaii, I believe that I have the most beautiful commute in the world! Every morning I’m amazed and humbled seeing the mountains and surrounding ocean. I find something new to be in awe of every drive!

Do you have any favorite projects you’ve worked on to date? Or type of project?

I’ve had the opportunity to work on the design of several educational/university music programs and found my experience with them to be extremely fulfilling. It’s an interesting application of acoustical concepts, standards, and design goals. Creating environments that are supportive of specific instrumentation and enable collaboration while simultaneously isolated from distractions to ensure quiet practice spaces is a rewarding challenge!

Anything else unique about you that you’d like to share?

In my free time I love to experiment with and hone my skills in different artistic mediums. My newest love is for glassblowing – the collaborative effort and high stakes makes for fun and intense days in the hot shop!
