Risen Christ Church in southeast Denver is a great example of mid-century modern influence. The church was originally designed in the late ’60s by James Sudler in collaboration with Gio Ponti, and needed updates to meet the needs of the community. Though distinctly beautiful, the shape and original interior layout presented multiple challenges related to accessibility, including acoustics. Todd Beiler recently outlined the challenges and solutions that can help give new life to our historic spaces in the June issue of Building Dialogue.
