New Orleans, June 10 2024: NOISE-CON is the premier, in-person conference on noise control and acoustics, presented by the Institute of Noise Control Engineering. Held in New Orleans this year, our very own Jeanette Hesedahl is representing CENSEO while also supporting the conference in her role as INCE officer and vice president of membership for the organization. She sent along some great photos she took during the Tech Tour of local New Orleans venues.

The tour included the Copper Vine, a historical structure home to a sports bar and simulated rock arena that uses spring suspended loudspeakers; the Saenger Theater, originally built in 1927 and heavily damaged by Katrina, was renovated, enlarged, and reopened as a 2600-seat venue in 2013; the Joy Theater opened in 1947 and damaged from Katrina led to a 2011 renovation and reopening with a 1200-person capacity. The last stop on the tour included The Jazz and Heritage Foundation, the group that puts on the Jazz Fest and many other events in New Orleans. Sounds like a great tour, thanks for sharing, Jeanette!!
