CENSEO provided acoustic, AV, electronic safety + security and IT/cabling systems design for this pool replacement project serving Jeffco Schools and the constituents of Arvada, Colorado. The 49,000 SF facility includes a 50 meter, 10-lane swimming pool , diving boards, locker room and a spectator seating area.

CENSEO’s design uses a layered approach. All loudspeakers in the natatorium have well-controlled dispersion to minimize unwanted acoustical reflections, reducing “unwanted sound energy,” aka “noise”. The lower level around the pool deck includes a series of wall-mounted column speakers only for occupants on the deck. The upper level is a group of directional speakers covering only the spectator area.
