CENSEO AV + Acoustics (CENSEO) today announced the promotion of Dana Dorsch to the newly created role of vice president!

Dorsch is an acoustician and senior project manager who joined CENSEO in 2019. She has nearly 15 years of experience in acoustical consulting design and project management. In her new role as vice president, Dana will continue serving clients across the western U.S. and Guam from her base at CENSEO’s Kailua headquarters in addition to assuming a broader role in overall firm operations. Her focus will be on team development, strategic planning, and engineering operations support.

Dorsch first met CENSEO president Todd Beiler, PE, when the two worked together in the Kailua office of D.L. Adams, an office Beiler led for many years before launching CENSEO in 2012.

“I’m thrilled to announce Dana will be CENSEO’s first-ever vice president. She’s a been an instrumental part of our team, bringing the right technical solutions that meet our clients’ overarching goals while understanding the big picture balancing construction costs and engineering performance, and always with a positive attitude,” said Beiler.

“I am, by nature, a problem solver and collaborator so I’m excited to grow my role providing support to our amazing, multidisciplinary team, and ensure they have the tools in place to best serve our clients and their project,” said Dorsch.

Dorsch’s most challenging and high-profile projects include the Liliuokalani Center for Innovation, a planned 30,000-square-foot performance and community center in Honolulu, Ulana at Ward Village, a high-rise residential development currently under construction and the Wahiawa Civic Center, which recently broke ground on construction that will provide a new home for a district court facility and office complex.

Dorsch has a B.S. in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan and is actively involved with the Institute for Noise Control, the Acoustical Society of America and National Council of Acoustical Consultants.
