Deer Trail PK-12 School

The new Deer Trail PK-12 school in the small but growing town of Deer Trail (approximately 60 miles east of Denver), Colorado, was a much needed improvement to the dated 1920s existing school. The new construction included vocational technology classrooms, labs, athletic spaces, a commons, administration offices, music suite, and multi-use performance space. Primary and secondary schools are separated but share some spaces. The new Davies Public Library and a fitness center are included in this space, offering enriching programs and activities for the entire community.

  • Program: New construction, PK-12 School, collaborative spaces, multi-use spaces, made possible by a $28 m grant from the State Board of Education’s Building Excellent Schools Today (BEST) program and $36.2 m bond budget. Designed to meet High Performance Schools (CHPS) standards.
