CENSEO AV+Acoustics is a consulting firm specializing in design services for acoustics and noise control, audio-visual systems, theatrical systems, telecommunications systems, and electronic security systems. Established in 2012, CENSEO’s headquarters is in Kailua, Hawai’i with additional offices in Denver, Seattle, and Tucson. We are continually working to meet the growing demand for state-of-the-art technologies by offering industry-leading acoustical, AV, and technology design and consulting services. We are seeking highly motivated, self-starting individuals.

Based in our Kailua, Hawai’i, office, the construction administrator will have a strong background in construction administration, project management experience, and software.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion
  • Manage and delegate submittals and RFIs with the project team to ensure complete and timely responses
  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Utilize construction management software such as for project tracking
  • Assist in contract administration and document control
  • Conduct project coordination meetings and maintain project documentation
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration
  • Assist in project scheduling and tracking progress

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred
  • Experience in construction administration with diverse project experience
  • Experience in the AEC Industry as an audio-visual, structured cabling, or electronic security systems engineering consultant or contractor – minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Proficiency in, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, AutoCAD, REVIT and other construction management software
  • Strong understanding of project management principles
  • Skills & Knowledge of NEC Codes and related ICC Codes, and TIA/EIA, BICSI, and AVIXA standards
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Construction knowledge and understanding of the construction process
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willing to travel to project sites to ensure projects are meeting client expectations and on track for completion/deadlines

Compensation Range: $75,000 – $100,000 per year
