Keauhou Lane
LEED Platinum Certified by the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and designated under the reserved housing program, Keauhou Lane’s 209 rental spaces were constructed to be affordable housing units in the Kaka’ako area of Honolulu. Floorplans include one and two bedroom apartments as well as studio spaces. The project included a 58-panel solar water heating system, designed to produce 40 percent of the hot water load. All units offer air conditioning and modern finishes including quartz countertops, stainless steal appliances, and high-efficiency LED lighting. The pet-friendly building includes outdoor decks with grills, indoor lounge, bike room, bike parking, bike maintenance station, laundry room, surf board storage, and parking. The Keauhou Lane building is estimated to operate more efficiently than comparable buildings, by up to 17 percent.

Program: This 6-story, 209-unit, LEED Platinum Certified mixed-use building was designated under the reserved housing program with residential units above 30,800 sq ft of commercial space. Property was developed by Gerding Edlen in partnership with Kamehameha Schools. The project was completed in 2017.
Site: 31,880 sq ft of commercial/retail with 209 units of residential rental apartment units comprised of 5 levels on top of commercial podium shell.
