Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Boulder, Colorado. After doing my undergraduate in Cleveland, and graduate school in Southern California, I moved back to Colorado for the mountains and nature.

What would your dream vacation be?

My favorite way to travel is to explore the local food – everything from street food to nice restaurants. I’m a huge foodie, and love to try new things, cuisines, and dishes.

If you had to watch one sport for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

It would absolutely be college basketball. I grew up watching the CU Buffs Men’s basketball team with my family (we had season tickets), went to basketball camp, and still have a signed basketball from the 2000/2001 team.

Favorite quote?

“We dream. And then occasionally we attempt to share our dreams with others. In recounting our dreams we try to construct a narrative… The human brain is a narrative creating machine that takes whatever happens and imposes chronology, meaning, cause and effect… We choose. We can choose to relate to our circumstances with bitterness or with openness. The stories that we tell determine nothing less than personal destiny.” –Anne Bogart
